News Obama's inauguration, a view from space

Just a quick thought - has the Hubble space telescope ever been pointed at earth? Could it even focus? The images would be interesting at least.

The HST cannot be pointed to objects as bright as the Moon, the Earth and the Sun because it would damage its sensitive instruments.

For a HST version adapted to pointing at the Earth, look for info on the KH-4 satellites. ;)

Hmmm... maybe we should make a cube sat and *cough* accidentally *cough* ram Hubble :)

Seriously though, thanks for clearing that up,
Finally my troll quota for the day (I have a troll quota now?),

What do you mean, Dad?
Well, their using the same f:censored:ing jokes as they did in the last Austin Power's movie.
What f:censored:ing joke?
You know, the f :censored: ing joke about the long, smooth rocket that looks like some guy's--
