General Question not able to get web help

When I'm running orbiter and go to alt F1 for help the computer is not connecting to the web. Is there a setting either in Orbiter or Windows XP that I'm not seeing?

The help files for Orbiter are stored locally, so your computer shouldn't connect to the web when you press Alt-F1.

Is there a problem with opening help in the simulation, and the help window tells you that the web page couldn't be found?

The computer is not supposed to connect to the internet to access Orbiter's help files. The help is stored in .chm files locally within the Orbiter directory.

An issue with these files was reported in this thread. Please try the solution presented there.
