Problem New D3D9 Flattening issue

I'm working with Gattispilot on updating Moonbase Alpha for Orbiter 2016 D3D9 and we're having an issue with surface flattening at the crater Plato. Of the 5 Moonbase pads, Pads 1 & 2 appear below MSL. With the following .flt file for the location:

Ellipse -2520 -9.3 51.599998 1000 1000 0 0
Ellipse -2520 -9.3199357 51.5878504 1000 1000 0 0

Moonbase Alpha is correctly rendered on a flat surface.

But pads 1 & 2 appear like this.

As you see, the apparent floor is perhaps 0.6 meter above the pad's floor. No height editing of the .flt file seems to have any effect on the relative elevation of the pad's floor. Only disabling terrain flattening under the advanced video tab in the launchpad results in the correct render. How can I "fix" the .flt file so all 5 pads are rendered correctly? Thanks in advance for your help.

Tile resolution has an impact on flattening accuracy ( raise the height by 200m or so and you'll see). Either higher level tiles, or the best workaround I've found so far is simply to make the flat area MUCH larger than presumed (also note that the center of your flat may not be where you think it is because of the res.)

We're still struggling with the pad height issue in updating the Moonbase Alpha add-on. With this Texture/Moon/MBA Flt file

Altering the height parameter in the .flt file seems to have no effect on the ground elevation. Only varying the Moonbase's Alt parameter in the scenario file from 1.500 to -0.650 results in this

The black shading is the lunar surface encroaching on the pad floor suggests that in spite of the .flt file, the surface isn't flat. Suggestions on a solution appreciated.

Are the eclipses overlapping? Also the TD points on the eagle are still off, might be better to use a DG as stand in
