This solar system has 4 planets that orbit a neutron star.  The star spins approximately 10 times a second.
Updates
- Recompiled for orbiter 2010
- Scenarios fixed
- Custom terrain for OGLA

Is this a fictional solar system or did you get the data from any of the real ones?

The first solar system around another star was discovered around a pulsar. After a star went supernova, 3 planets were born from the ashes...
Arecibo observatory made that discovery, if I remember correctly...

The star is in 3d and spin 10 times per second ?

a very nice place to visit but not very long time by the danger of radiations

How can be the life inside a normal spacecraft with such magnetic fields ?

This is a fictional system, but i will think about adding the real planets.

Interesting... in the first post it says 10 times a second, but in the OH description, it's 20. So which is it?

I had counted the spin wrong. So it really is 10 times a second. My bad.

Cool, I wanna do something like this for a YT film I am doing.
Mind if I use this for the film, I will give you credit for it, I swear.

Hi, everyone, help me out. I am getting a CTD in IMFD map screen whenever I select it in this system. Other pages seem to work fine. Anyone has a solution?

I have a problem. When Orbiter starts up, the yellow information text on the top of the screen is mixed up (characters missing) and then I get a crash. Before the crash, the planets are missing (invisible), and there are just stars.

I am running Windows 7 Home premium, Orbiter 2010+P1 and an Intel Core i5 processor.

The program event name is an "Appcrash". I am baffled as to what is causing this. Is there a fix?

Orbiter.log:
Can you post the Orbiter.log from just after the crash, instead of after you reran Orbiter launchpad?

There should be details in the event viewer, which should contain module name and address of the code causing the exception. If we know the details, we may have a solution.

It may be that star DLL see if this fixes it. Drop the file into the config folder.

THAT WORKS! thank you! So what was the prob being caused by?

btw my orbiter.log is from after the crash.

So Orbiter was crashing before you clicked on th "Start" button? I don't see this in the log:
Code:
**** Creating simulation session
DirectDraw interface OK
Direct3D interface OK
So it isn't from after starting the simulation.

The log would contain at least the "Creating simulation session" if it was from after starting simulation, hence it's from after you restarted the Orbiter, and it has been overwritten with a new content then.

Does this work on Orbiter 2010 P1? It does not work for me - it crashes when I load the scenarios. It says "orbiter.exe has stopped working". I applied the fix, but still nothing.

OK. Here is the contents of orbiter.log
