Good morning gentlemen,
For anyone who is good with Vista, I have recently downloaded Soyuz V.1 by Mr. Thorton. I read the Docs and it said that if you get a CTD, install .Net Framework 3.5. Well I do get CTD's and I tried installing .Net Framework 3.5, but I get a setup error after it says you can now disconnect from the Internet. I have tried installing it many different ways but it still won't install. Could you please help me? I sure would appreciate it.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Liber, thank you for your help.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Liber, when I ran the setup, it said my computer didn't meet the requirements. Is there anything else that can be done?

Yeah,Install Windows XP... :P

You mean you run Net Framework or update?

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Liber, I do have Windows Vista Home Premium. I'm not sure if that means I now have to get rid of the Soyuz or get a whole new Vista. What do you think?

Like I sad I don't have Vista...can't tell what to do.
Wait for Vista user's maybe thay know how make it work.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Liber, I want to thank you for the help you gave me. For anyone who does have Vista, can you figure out what the problem might be?

What is the exact error message you're getting?

And are sure you are installing the correct version? (OS and x86 vs x64)

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Hielor, the exact message was that my computer didn't have the requirements to run the program. For Mr. Quick Nick, I believe I was downloading x86.

That is not the exact word-for-word error message.

And your computer IS x86, right? :P

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Quick Nick, I can't find out anywhere on my computer if it is x86. For Mr. Hielor, I am downloading .NET 2.0 SP1, so I will post when the message comes up.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Hielor, I could not figure out how to add the message, but here it is:

"Setup has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. These requirements must be met before you can install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1.
Prerequisites
This product is not supported on Vista Operating System."

This is exactly what it said exactly word for word. I can only hope that Mr. Thorton comes out with Soyuz V2.0 with a better module.

.NET 2.0 and 3.5 are distributed as Windows components for Vista. You have to get them through Windows Update.

.NET 2.0 SP1 is in Vista SP1. Don't know about 3.5, but spend some time with google and it'll help you out.

Good morning gentlemen, For Mr. Hielor, I already tried downloading 3.5 and it says "Setup Error" at the top and where the progress is supposed to be is blank. Right now, I'm downloading VC++2008 to see if that will help (this time , it's not slowing down my computer).

Look around on google. First result for me gave the following:
1. Check the following regkey for any values for the setup EXE you're launching when installing NetFX 3.5 (either dotnetfx35setup.exe or VS' setup.exe, etc.)
a. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
2. If you have any values in there then my theory is right. It’ll be something like a key called dotnetfx35setup.exe (including the full path) and a value of WINXPSP2.
3. Delete that key/value for the setup exe you’re trying to launch.
4. Try installing again.
Google around, I'm sure you'll find a solution.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Hielor, I searched for a good 35 minutes and I found nothing that applied to me. I don't have any error log, or anything else. The screen just goes blank, telling me nothing, other thatn "Setup Error".
