It says on that article that the inflatable base follows the same lines as the one tested in antarctica. Im pretty sure this is along the same lines as the ones developed here in NZ.

Our unit brought one for testing, it really is an impressive design. VERY VERY quick to set up and pull down. Though not really a problem on the moon, the best thing about them is you could set one up in the pissing rain, and it will still be dry inside.
I don't quite get what you guys are thinking this is, but in our ones only the Ribs are inflatable (similar to the poles in a normal tent) so the interior doesn't have to be high pressure.
This really is the future, the only problem i can see is they will have to take the air(or CO2 probably) to the moon along with the tent.
