NASA Continues to Grapple With Ares 1 Vibration Issues

As dubious as I am about the press's ability to tell the difference between a minor problem and a catastrophe, this is becoming worrisome. I wonder at what point they'll start looking at contingency plans, in case the problem turns out to be unworkable.

Of more concern is the Tiger Team that was assembled to look at this issue and report in March appears to have been disassembled and presumably they now are part of this new Core Team. That suggests to me that the Tiger Team was either unable to resolve the issue in time and they have bought more time by forming the Core Team, or alternatively, the vibration issue is not as bad as we all thought and it is small enough not to require a dedicated team. The first option is bad news, the second option good news. The management of this project is of as much concern to me as any of the
technical issues. I can imagine that there is some uncertainty in the Constellation program about the future with the elections due later this year
and maybe that is affecting morale?

Maybe it's not too late to mount the campaign....
Build the Delta Glider and put in top of the Delta IV!
