Vessel Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope

Quick question:
Shouldn't the main mirror be covered during launch, or there's no mechanism for it? I think the "hat" part on the telescope is its mirror cover that is only opened after the telescope reaches Sun-Earth L2. Kinda similar to how Hubble was deployed from the Shuttle in 1990

looks like it does fold?

It looks like a cover is then extended to the hood.

I can just put a cover on it and press a key and cover is gone.

Just out of curiosity, here's a 3-view comparison of the 300-day trajectory prediction by LagrangeMFD (rotating frame, Earth-Sun fixed) from Gargantua2024's scenario (Horizons data) vs. the halo orbit that LagrangeLaunchMFD will put you in:

Gargantua2024 scenario:

LagrangeLaunchMFD launch solution:

NGRST halo is very flattened, and kind of tilts the other way. Interesting.

Cheers,
