Hi, Matias Saibene!

Thanks! I should be 1 light year or 63,240 AU away from the sun about on Wednesday, January 1,2014 or Thursday, January 2,2014!

Dang, vinny! This is all one continuous run? I want to see the power bill you've racked up doing this! :p

Hi, wolfee68!

If you are using the Delta glider VI, you can use the antenna to get to the moon easily, but the first thing to do is to get out of the earth's atmosphere and into space, accelerating the delta glider VI until the vertical speed is 5 kilometers per second or 16,400 feet per second before pointing the Delta glider VI at the moon using the antenna. Depending on where the moon is in the sky, you may have to until the earth get small enough until you see the moon. You can only do this with unlimited fuel selected in the parameters option on the orbiter launch pad. Good luck!

Cheers,
Vincent

Hi, Donamy!

My desired distance from the sun is 200,000 AU or 30,000,000,000,000 kilometers or 18,000,000,000,000 miles before I turn the space craft around 180 degrees to fire the rocket engines to slow the space craft from 1,500,000 kilometers per second or 4,920,000,000 feet per second to complete stop (0 meters per second), but be aware, it won't be until 2015 or 2016 before I get that far out!!

Cheers,
Vincent

Hi, Donamy!

I'm not sure, I'm thinking I'll start heading back to earth in 2019-2020 which I'm going to be 46-47 years old by the time I start heading back to earth.

Cheers,
Vincent

So that's what you do with the antenna on the DGIV... I never could figure out what it was supposed to do

If you're starting to head back in 2019, when do you think you'll arrive at Earth?

Hi, meson800!

Yes, that what you do with the antenna on the DGIV, but be sure to extend the antenna on the lower panel of the DGIV or it's not going to work. Yes, I should be back to earth in late 2021 which I'm going to be 48 years old!

Cheers,
Vincent

Yes, this is all one continuous run!!

You sure have a reliable computer setup. I probably would have had several BSODs over all that time

What if a new version of Orbiter comes out? You obviously seem to have more than one computer... Right?

You kidding? I don't remember the last time I rebooted my computer... The last time my computer was off was probably during the 3 hour power outage a few months back. I shut it down every few months just to clean the dust from the fans and heat sinks...
