My building visible in hollywood movie.

I was just watching "A Home at the End of the World" (2004) with Colin Farrell, and when I saw my building and the park I go swimming in often, I almost wet my pants. There have always been major Hollywood films shoot in Toronto. However this one strikes so close to home its chilling. I mean I can SEE MY BALCONY !!!!!!! The park was converted in to a graveyard, little weird, but cool. Now.... how did I miss this back in 2004? Mush have been to busy practising Shuttle re-entry's in Orbiter to notice.

I can literally recognise each tree and the exact locations they stood in, in that scene.

Cool. No one shoots movies where I live...

A few selected places of my hometown appeared in the movie "The international", but you won't recognize them easily, because they had been intentionally placed into different landscapes for giving the buildings new purposes.

For example this place:

My girlfriend has the doubtful honor that she lives next to the apartment block depicted in the music video to Sidos "Mein Block"... it takes some local patriotism to be proud of this.
