5 different rockets with 38 combinations of stages and boosters should make for some fun times!

One of the reasons why I made this addon is to try out things that would be very expensive or difficut to do in real life. Things like a 1 meter rocket with 4 smaller boosters. I've had alot of fun making this and I hope you all have fun using it.
Some of this is pure sillyness so don't take it too seriously :)

SoCal Mountains is recommended with this addon

+Multistage2 included

Enjoy :)

I usually use small rockets like this to boost an airplane for take-off using Kultch's Universal Cargo Deck here: http://www.kulch.spb.ru/Eng/CargoDeck_project.html

Ok, so I will give you a few snips of info;

  • The screen went pixellated and coloured.
  • The window then goes white.
  • I then get a BEX event.
  • There is NOTHING on the Orbiter NG log.

Hope that helps.

No, it doesn't.

What's a BEX event?

Why would there be anything in the Orbiter NG log? Are you running the orbiter_ng.exe?

  • The window then goes white.
The screen goes white because instead of simulation you get an exception reporting window.

  • I then get a BEX event.
I found that BEX is Buffer Overflow Exception, but it doesn't tell me anything without more detailed report, which should be available either by clicking on a link/button on the error window, or in event viewer. This would at least help to identify what module caused the exception.

  • There is NOTHING on the Orbiter NG log.
Neither Orbiter.log nor Orbiter_NG.log are logging system exceptions. Do you mean the Orbiter_ng.log is empty or it doesn't contain errors? Did you try it with orbiter.exe?

Hope that helps.
Not much. This only tells us that you have had Buffer Overflow Exception which could be caused by many things and nothing more.
  • What is your operating system?
  • Do you use Data Execution Prevention for all applications?
  • Can you post detailed report from the exception?
  • If you run orbiter_ng.exe, then which graphics client are you using?
  • Is it the same if you run it with orbiter.exe and orbiter_ng.exe?

My details:

  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • No I only use it for "Essential Windows services only".

EDIT: Not needed. Ran the repair install wizard today. Works like a dream! Could've been caused by a corrupt registry entry or .dll.
