Elektor magazine has a project that might interest some rocket builders:

Uses the MPXH6115A6U pressure sensor from Freescale, haven't heard of them before, but I don't build a lot of altimeters.

Its probably not worth buying the magazine just for this, its only 5 sides and that includes pics. A nice project, but like a lot of modern stuff, its mostly software.

It dosen't record absolute pressure, just the differential from launch. Might try it with my catapult.

Not bad, and cheap price aswell, i was thinking myself of launching my own rockets. Have to play as the Range Safety Officer though :lol:.
