For the last instalment of this series we are getting hardcore.
Enough of Lego made or Lego sanctioned parts, we are making our own.
For me I will use a Arduino, the Mega in fact. The pins we are most concerned with are the SDA, or I2C pins. The NXT uses I2C for all digital communication so we can send our own data to the brick.
I should point out that this is entirly theoritical, not many people have done this.
With this set up you can control a goddly amount of sensors, motors etc with the Arduino and NXT. Personally I would use the Arduino for my sensor inputs and have the NXT output to my motors.
When I get my Arduino I hope to do something along these lines. But first I want to make Pong!
