The thing that is strange is that I placed the mesh file in the meshfolde and the mesh-spacecraft folder and it still is missing. Any suggestions?

Post the line in your ini file that calls the mesh? Maybe you've got a path issue.

Maybe it's not relevant, but do you need to use spacecraft2.dll when spacecraft3.dll is available?

It is for a tutorial I am using. Will it make a difference?

Hm, I don't know the details of your add-on, but whichever file you've got that calls for your mesh. I'm used to using ini files for both spacecraft3 and multistage2, but for a really short add-on, you might be able to use a cfg file.

Ok, is this an ini file or cfg? Perhaps that would make a difference. I'd put this kind of stuff in an ini file, but that's just me.

And your mesh, "simple-craft" is named exactly that, and is in the meshes directory, named simple-craft.msh ?

You know what, your ini file seems like it might be OK, and the problem might be someplace else. Orbiter is not finding a mesh, but it's also not telling you what mesh it's missing.

I'd try spacecraft3.dll instead (this must be declared in your scenario file of course), just to see if it has the same problem, and make sure your scenario isn't requesting any other items that might be missing a mesh.

I made all the files into a zip file, then I downloaded it and it works.
