I'm so excited for this, Mir is my favourite space station and this looks like the addon I've been dreaming of since I started playing Orbiter!
By the way, I'm not sure how much detail you eventually intend on adding to the Soyuz TM but I found this document which has heaps of information in it, some of which goes way beyond the scope of Orbiter but there's plenty of stuff that could be useful in there as well! https://www.planet4589.org/space/articles/pao/CrewManual1999.pdf
You could manually type the TLE data into the orbit parameters. The table below shows what the numbers mean on the TLE:
However, it doesn't say what is its Semi-major axis. Might need some further computing in order to get it
You are getting better and better, those are impressive results! I love the realism of the models! Again I'm currently moving, in fact I found a flat last week, probably going to move in next week. Then I'll continue on the Proton launcher ?
Krasheninnikov Bay base Project 1914
there are two submarines in the neighborhood class Kaľmar (Delta III) and class Shchuka-B (Akula) (NATO classification in brackets)
unfortunately, the orbiter does not support the underwater world, so I will make submarines for decoration
@MaxBuzz Did you use some sort of converter to get the buildings ? In theory it's possible to extract such data from Open Street Map...
Perhaps the sides of the building should be darker/brown for better integration with the terrain.
I made the territory in the most primitive way, it's just a grid laid on top of the ground
the grid works only if it is specified in the scenario
to create the map i used BlenderGIS addon
to create a normal map, you need to use the "tileedit" (but I have not dealt with this topic yet)
So this is the actual city of Baikonur (former Leninsk) on the banks of the Syr-Daria river ? Really cool ! 1:1 scale railways are becoming a possibility !
I hope to resume work on the Proton soon, things are cooling off a bit on my side after moving all my stuff across France (I went back and forth between Nantes and Toulouse with my car (small Peugeot 206Hdi) so many times that I could have paid you a visit in Russia had it been a one-way trip ! ? ???).
I have to finish Tianwen first, so that it will be out of the way.
In the current state the pad silo needs some improvement, and the rocket itself mostly needs a third stage and fairings. The Mobile Service Tower is mostly done.
Also I want to use MaxBuzz's cool carrier train to make a realistic pre-launch animation.
