Project Mir station complex / UR-500 family

orbiter did not react well to such a number of tubes, the limitation from 46,000 polygons per object falls to 35,000 polygons (the quality is not very much affected)

The current limit for a mesh should be 65535 triangles and vertices per group. Not sure what is the limit on the number of groups in a mesh file, but it isn't less than 256.

A while back I posted about the Soyuz simulator software.
Here's a video of it in action:
(nice views at 2:55)

Here's a screencap from yesterday's docking, showing what seems to be the docking screen:

I do not deal with the software component; all the software component is taken from a real simulator (as soon as I see the Soyuz TMA panel, I'm afraid that my early build has leaked)

"тэм2ум" modification "тэм2" (has nothing to do with the diesel locomotive of others :))

Is this gonna bee Site 31 or Gagarin's start? Both launch pads have extremely different layouts. Site 31's flame trench is a lot smaller than Gagarin's start's and at site 31, the assembly facility for the rocket is located about 2,000 feet (609.6 meters) away from the launch pad.

I found photographs of Launch Complex №1 2004 (It's hard for me to imagine what Launch Complex №31 looked like in the 90s.)
