Hello :) is thear a MFD that tells me when to deorbit so that I can land at KSC ?

Sure you havent heard of AeroBrake MFD? look for it on Orbithangar.

I will try it out now Thanks :)

BaseSync MFD is also your friend, it's got a DEO (DEOrbit) program which computes the optimal time to burn given landing site, anticipation angle and reentry angle.

OK thanks you two I just used aero brake MFD to land at Edwards after Takeing off from KSC :)

Aerobrake works like magic when trying to land, glide, aerobrake.. whatever.
It definitely made me learn to re-enter atmosphere

ok and Is theare any good tutorials for aero break mfd?

You can also very well use the latest IMFD as it has nearly all functions of BaseSyncMFD.

All I miss would be the possibility to define a delta azimuth deadband, so I don't need to have a plane change during the deorbit burn at all.

For the DG-XR1, you can use for deorbit: Ant = 45°, ReA = -1.2°, Alt=120k. Just increase the time to maneuver until you have minimum dV. Done. Now just reenter with standard procedures, regulate deceleration to 16 m/s² and do a nice HAC turn.

I'm using the AerobrakeMfd for re-entry at cape canaveral whit the shuttle.
I set the TGT and the yellow line appears near the gray line.

After this as I make to understand when and for how much time do the deorbit burn .
