MFD for basic flight parameters?

So, for basic things like thrust% and g load, are there MFDs? For the shuttle, I'd like to monitor both and do it correctly during launch. I have the shuttle fleet and fancy mfd that shows the profile, but I'm actually looking for instrumentation for these factors.

Also, is there some handy guide that talks about the throttle back, throttle up, negative return, press to ATO (which means??), press to MECO and all that good stuff?

I'm coming in from a sim pilot pesrpective where we use checklists, FMS computations for throttle settings, SIDs, STARs and other things with lots of details. Maybe I'm expecting too much here, but thought I'd ask as there seems to be MFDs for everything.

I think what you want is two informations:

1. You can get the checklists for the later Shuttle Missions from JSC.

This will likely not give you all information about the acronyms and reading the ASCENT checklist is a bit complex, but it gives you enough to chew.

2. The computer displays are explained in the DPS dictionary, it can currently be found here:
