I want to add just a few more details and I'll call this one done.

Beautiful pad Saturn V! Bravo!

Saturn V, it really looks good. It a step towards immersion with the buildings and all :-). It will be nice to explore with a helicopter ;) ! And super cool to launch from of course!

I wonder how to render it in Orbiter. xD Should be quite poly intensive.

Thank you, but I can only take credit for the detail upgrades and rescaling the layout of the launch complex. The models are extrapolations of Kev Shanow's excellent work.

Yes, it's a heavy bugger. Currently about 8mb (without the Atlas or Mercury). Seems to run fine on my machine (XP with quad-core processor/4gigs RAM/Gforce 8500) though. Above images are "in-game" screenshots if that's any help.

Make the config number smaller so you don't see the Hi-res texture from space.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Autopilotman, I too had this problem. The best results I have recieved is going into the .cfg of your Cape Canaveral for Mr. Kev33's pads and replace the surface tiles with your default Cape Canaveral. If you can't open it, open with notepad.

IIRC, the issue isn't Kev's pads, it's the transparency along the coast in the way the KSC tiles are implemented in his cfg file.

When I upload the new LC 14/19 pads, I'll be uploading a new set of Sol cfg files that corrects this issue. I forget exactly how I blended the surface tiles, but mine runs thus:

Be aware however that the positioning of the upgraded pads is dependant on your using Kukanotas' Hi-Res KSC tileset. Though since the pads are configured as a spacecraft, you can move them with the scenario editor, but this means you will need to edit the "system" line in the scenario file as well as configuring the corresponding Sol system of your choice to run the new pads.

I hadn't thought about it. I suppose I could, but if the point of upgrading the pads is more detail, what's the point of running it on the default tileset?

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Saturn V, will you or someone else be adding vernier engines to the Atlas?

Suggestion: If somebody gets me a good mesh by this weekend, I can do a ICBM DLL with guidance, including the verniers.

Good morning gentlemen,
For Mr. Urwumpe, what mesh were you looking for?
