Thats true for most states. Some states (Maine is one, I forget the others) divide their electoral votes in proportion to the voters.

Maine and Nebraska currently use that method. Although I do not think it has ever some into play since each state usually votes one way or the other.

The way the so-called "Congressional Apportionment Method" or "Maine-Nebraska Method" works is that two electoral votes are given to the statewide popular vote. The rest are given to whoever wins the popular vote in each congressional district.

What I am interested in is if there are going to be any faithless electors this election.

Looks like Obama got all the votes he needed.
