New Release Long Shot

Well now, here I was, getting ready to start a nice long trip with Cosmos, and here ya come out with Long Shot.
Very nice!
First impression is that the angular momentum is still a bit too high. I think 0.01rad/s for x-y axis and 0.05rad/s for z would be more realistic, though I admit I haven't tried ctrl1 yet.
And a question: The forward circular structure that, at first glace looks somewhat like a centrifuge; is it perhaps a magnetic field generator to protect the crew from solar flare radiation? ...Yeah, that's it!

I like it. Though I just got it, I've added it to my scenario, and Cosmos DGIVs are transffering to Long Shot. Maybe a joint mission...

Aeadar: Stay tuned on Orbithangar updates. Version 0.0.2 is Ummu compatible, and I'm now working on a UCGO preliminary solution for the ship.

Ok, I tried Ctrl1. I retract. I'm able to do slow, realistic rotations. Forget what I said about the angular momentum, it's perfect.

I thought about trying the pushing Celestium to Mars thing after DLing Long Shot! If I can figure out how to successfully transfer crews, that is.

I think I'm doing things right; I start in Long Shot, select active dock, open lock, switch to DGIV, open locks, select crewmember, press EVA, and it says the crew has transferred to the docked ship( Long Shot), but I always end up with the ummu'ed crewmember floating in the airlock area, maneuverable, but invisible from external view and unable to re-enter either ship.

Looks like the Long Shot is docked to the "Celestium 3" station, found here: [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2626"]Celestium 3[/ame] but I might be wrong.
