It is approaching the end of the year and rumors about the 2011 sets are starting.

I haven't heard anything from the Technic side, but it would seem that a City Space theme might be back, I will of course be getting them ASAP.

Possible sets include:

  • Space Launch Pad
  • Space Shuttle
  • Small Space Launch Pad
  • Space Maintenance Vehicle /Moon Vehicle
This now also makes it possible that a Technic MLP will be built.

As more news comes to hand I will post it here.

that would be pretty awesome actually. I think I will buy the whole Space shuttle set..... when I have the money ;)

I think that I might get the Space Shuttle Adventure set, that came out recently, for Christmas.

Its to bad they can charge hundreds of dollars for pieces of plastic i meen come on it cant cost that much to make

Before you start complaining about the price, please note that to make Lego competitive in North America, the price is about half that than in Europe and in Asia.

Also you are quite welcome yo buy the parts individually. The parts list and instructions are public.

Also Lego's Customer service is excellent. If a model has a problem they will send you a fix, if you are missing a part they will send you replacement free of charge.

The quality of Lego is also second to none.

I agree with Tl8, the LEGO company does well to their customers, and they always help when it is needed.

I wish I had known that as a kid.

I have so many jerry-rigged sets because of missing/broken parts. There's always that one little critical piece you can't find... it was maddening. Ah, those were the days. :)

I actually had a few pieces missing on the Space Shuttle when I got it. Most frustratingly , the very tip of the nose cone on the Orbiter. I had to use a Grey one temporarily until I could find one in my collection. But building the thing was such a blast, I ended up dismantling the entire thing just so I could do it again
