OHM Lagrange MFD

Sounds like either somebody seriously pissed him off here, or some weird license/patent lawyer :censored:.

I suspect the later, given that Keith was clearly a professional of some sort in this field and the severed ties included one-on-one collaborations and Youtube as well. Would explain the motivation, suddenness, and totality. I find it hard to believe that anyone would be angry enough to actually sit and delete ALL of their posts out of spite, without anyone else catching wind of the drama.

Keithth's skill set is incredibly valuable, perhaps too valuable to give away, and I don't find it surprising that someone out there is protecting their investment.

ALL of 'Keithth's posts were edited (to deletion) over a finite period of time a few days ago. Also, the Youtube channel was closed.

It seems that Keithth proactively spent time to make his online presence disappear. :shifty:

O-F Staff Note:
Yes, according to the forum logs, Keithth went through and edited out all 272 of his posts. The staff discussed it, and nobody on the staff knows why he did that. We can only assume he was upset with someone and edited out all his posts to "get back at the community".

In any case, the staff has now mass-undeleted all 272 of the edited-out posts via a SQL command, so please notify a staff member if you notice any content still missing. As for why the staff restores mass-deleted content such as this, I'll repost this here from another thread:

The staff discussed the topic of users mass-deleting their own posts a few years ago back when the "delete post" button was still enabled, and the consensus was that once content is posted to the board it becomes part of the community and is therefore not the original poster's "property" to be mass-deleted to try to harm the community. This is why the "delete post" button was removed several years ago following that staff discussion: deleting helpful board content 1) creates "holes" in threads across the forum, and 2) harms the community as a whole. That doesn't help anybody, and that is why the staff works to keep the board intact in cases of board vandalism.

We hope this clarifies what happened and why the deleted posts suddenly reappeared.
