It's okay, Pluto.

Personally, I prefer the line...

"The Solar System consists of the Sun, Jupiter, and Assorted Debris..."

Regarding latest definitions pluto is a plutoid, a trans-neptunian dwarf planet. But honestly, who does care about it, outside the astronomical community? Exactly nobody. It is as interesting as in China they eat dogs :P

No, that's just gross.

Exactly nobody.

I strongly doubt that.
I find it interesting, and I'm sure others here do, not to mention people who are interested in astronomical news. (Not obsessed people like us. :P)

No, that's just gross.

Eating pigs and cows and drinking milk does not make human dietary habits less gross, actually. Especially not if you look at meat-processing industries and start worrying what's in your burger in which you might appreciatively bite into right now... ;)

I guess. You can eat any dog as long as it isn't my dog. ;)
Especially the dog next door which barks incessantly.

That's why I don't eat burgers. :P

I love burgers :) But I would never say that eating dogs is more gross than eating pics and cows for example. It is just a matter of habituation. We're not used to eat dogs. But we're still used to eat different animals, not more or less gross.

Let's just make a contest. All the planetoids have to fight against each other and the winner will become a planet!

Somewhere I got the classic Star Trek fight music, be a good background don't ya think?

Just found this.

How can it be this thread went from Pluto to dogs without involving Disney?

Because Pluto isn't really a dog. If he were, then by Disney standards he would be able to talk like the rest of the Disney animals, including Goofy, who is in fact a real dog.

I think it's high time we go back and review Pluto's status as a dog...

And that's why I'm a vegetarian :)

I agree, I think it's time to consider Pluto as a dwarf-dog instead.
