Aah I see.

No, Unity's mesh is not yet on the SVN.

However, we do have permission to use Donamy's Unity from his ISS Experience package, at least until we get Nick's Unity on the SVN - so we can use it's parts, such as ACBM, interior etc.
 
--CBM HATCH TEXTURE UPDATES--

Hi all.

Firstly, sorry about this thread being a bit quiet for the last week, I have just been busy with other life-related tings:)

Anyway, yesterday I re-did the CBM hatch textures, mainly because I feel my skills have improved so much in since I did the original version, that I thought if I did them again I could get a much better effect. The basic changes are:
. Higher resolution
. Updated hatch outer seals to look more realistic
. The Unlatched/Test/Equalise/Latched markers on Internal side

They are the right size to fit all other textures I have made, and are exactly square, windows on both sides line up, etc.

I'm also working on all Destiny & Unity textures + info docs for them.

--UPDATE--

I have just completed a much better external side CBM hatch texture. Now, all 8 tension rod assembly's are fully visible (a major part of the hatch). I'm also nearing completion of a large document explaining everything an ISSU developer will need to know about the ISS, explained in an easy-to-read format. I'm also finishing up the Destiny & Unity to-do lists, (complete with diagrams to show work needed), + I found a great image for the main Unity textures - much better than before.

Sorry for the slow speed of this project, but most of the time I have other stuff on my plate, so it's not always possible to do as much for ISSU as I would like. I hope to be able to pick up the pace soon.

I'm currently assembling a list of everything that needs doing for the first few modules. Once it is done, I'll post it on here, then all the team (which now includes you;)) can take a look at it and deicide what they can/would like to do.

I have a lot on my plate right now, but I hope to have this list done in a few weeks.

I have now completed the final texture for the internal side of the CBM hatch (below). Now all I need to do is make the windows on the external side & internal side align...

--WORK PLAN--

Here's the plan of work for the near future:

1. FINISH ALL TEXTURING
1.1 Finish Destiny main tile texture
1.2 Finish Destiny forward and aft bulkhead textures
1.3 Finish both external and internal CBM hatch textures
1.4 Finish CBM seal ring texture
1.5 Finish FRGF texture
1.6 Finish PDGF texture
1.7 Finish trunnion pin texture

2. CREATE STANDARD MESHES FOR USE IN ALL OF ISSU
(TEAM MEMBER NOTE: Meshes already exist, just need editing)
2.1 Make seperate mesh of EVA handrails (two types)
2.2 Make seperate mesh of FRGF (with texture)
2.3 Make seperate mesh of PDGF (with texture)
2.4 Make seperate mesh of Trunnion pin + scuff plate
2.5 Make seperate mesh of CBM hatch (with texture)
2.6 Make seperate mesh of ACBM
2.7 Make seperate mesh of PCBM

3. PLANNING/PREPARATION
3.1 Create an document listing all info developers need to know about the ISS
3.2 Create an info document listing all info developers need to know specifically for Destiny
3.3 Create a to-do list of tasks for Destiny
3.4 All team members choose which tasks they would like to handle
3.5 Create a revised to-do list, with all tasks assigned to a specific team member
3.6 Upload Donamy's Destiny interior mesh to SVN repository

Once all the above is complete, modelling work can start!:speakcool:

Sorry I didn't reply sooner - I only just saw this post.;)

I am currently a little busy with other, real life projects. But ISSU is still alive, and I intend to resume work on it sometime in the future!

Do try to get it done before they de-orbit the real thing. ;)
 
Looking back some, man this looks great so far! Are you guys going to make your own Solar panels or are you going to use someone elses with permission?
