I've been using your ad-on with SSU v1.25. Other than Donamy's STS-88 & 92, the shuttle payloads are not compatible. Is there a conversion to make the shuttle payloads compatible with SSU?

I have no idea. I didnt test ISS and its separate modules with SSU, at this time i see only one way to set payloads in right position: you could try to change SSU attachment's point pos, dir and rot vectors, of course if it's possible.

Ok, I'll give it another try. I can get the x, and y, position but not the z position.

I noticed in your conversion of STS-88 & 92, you completely re-engineered the shuttlebay attachment scheme from Thorton's setup for the v4.2 shuttle fleet. I couldn't translate that to STS-96 so I used the scenario editor to position ISSR/STSBAY. No joy

5/29/99, Discovery arrives below the ISS.  Perform a semi-circular flyaround, then move in and dock with the station.  Actual docking occurred 04:23:51 GMT.
To perform the flyaround, look through the docking port centerline camera (Shuttle Fleet view using "CTRL+Z"); start a slow pitchup using the RCS, then switch to translate mode and start a forward thrust until the ISS remains centered in the field of view.
Use the upward thrusting RCS to maintain the distance constant from the station.  When above the station, kill the rotation of the shuttle ("KILLROT"), and stop the translation manuever.  With relative motion cancelled between the shuttle and station, then begin moving in to dock with PMA-2.
The Docking MFD is essential in measuring the relative motion between the station and shuttle.

No matter what I do I can't adjust the z position of the payload in the bay. I don't have the skills to re-engineer the payload (a la Donamy) also, SSU has an animated docking ring. The payload duplicates the ODS. I understand the need to re-engineer the payload and that this conversion may be beyond my ability. These are two great ad-ons, it would be nice if they could play together!

Suggestions appreciated,

To use Thorton's shuttlebay with SSU, you need to use the STSbay.dll that comes with my STS-88 mission addon.

Also, it's not the z axis you need to change, it is the Y axis(up and down in Orbiter).
