My bad, sorry. :embarrassed:
Correction: he is a Senior Research Fellow.

Still no professor, which is a full-grade university teacher and institute head. Senior Research Fellows are not automatically professors, but most of them are on the edge of becoming one. All that is in the way is usually the fact that they are too useful and experienced for letting them go away as professors, as long as there is work to be done left.

Looking forward to reading the interview.

I think I can guess the answer myself, but I'd love to give Dr. Schweiger the opportunity to explain why he's kept Orbiter free all these years (despite the fact he could easily charge money for it and people would pay for it, and despite the global trend of charging money for even the smallest products of one's own work).

I interviewed Martin yesterday. I tried to get answers to a fair number of your questions.

It should be published soon. I hope you'll enjoy reading the interview as much as I enjoyed doing it. Martin is obviously a very intelligent man, I found his answers to be very insightful.

I'll tell you as soon as it's out!

Cheers
