Well, the problem is that we all have pretty busy lives. Nobody is getting paid for developing stuff for Orbiter, so we have to bring home money from regular day jobs. Which means that Orbiter development always cuts into precious free time (or worse, sleeping time) and thus takes dedication.
You say that learning new things to make your ideas work is not high on your list of priorities, and that's fine. But it's not fair to ask other people to invest their spare time if you are not willing to do so yourself.
If you really want to see your idea implemented, but don't want to invest time, your only alternative may be to invest money (i.e. pay somebody to do it). You can try to make it sound so incredibly interesting that a developer will pick it up, but you'll have to accept then that this may not happen. (and it definitely requires a somewhat more diplomatic posting style to have any hope of success).
