Well, if I get pregnant by drinking alcohol, I should really wonder how much hormones are in the beer now. There must be female hormones in beer. Once I drink too much of it, I start talking nonsense, my sense of dimensions gets lost and I can't park my car on a empty large parking lot.

But it could also have other explanations.

Just so you all know, since it seems you don't, you can buy condoms at most gas stations here. It might be easier than trying to get them from a pharmacy. Pills, however, are more than likely only sold at pharmacies.

Condoms are no guarantee, although can help from a statistical standpoint. And any bit helps.

The only guarantee is to be able to face truthfully, any issue as it comes.

I've got a little more news now. They are interviewing the girl and may release the interview later. The likely father is VERY upset about what has happened. Even he probably didn't know that she was pregnant. The media don't seem to have figured out who the father is even though every student, not only in this school, knows.

Unrelated: A girl fainted at school today. It was unrelated and happened because she recently had her appendix taken out. The media and the school had to mention it though to reassure parents that nothing bad happened again. It's not much, but it still adds to the chaos.(these 2 events aren't the only crazy things happening, just the only ones I really have reason to mention)

Even though I do say choas, I only mean that things have been weird. Students have certainly been affected by what has happened and close friends are very depressed/'confused', but most students have been going about their every day business regardless of this staying in everyone's mind.

Also, the media STILL hasn't left the school. They're just waiting right across the street with vans parked and equipment setup.

Honestly, some aspects of it must be a typical teenager problem: If you can't believe you can possibly die until you are 20, why should you believe you can get pregnant with 14?

Well, it certainly won't help you to get pregnant (only perhaps look so, if you've been drinking beer long enough). But alcohol might "help" in getting someone else pregnant, especially if both were drunk.

The likely father is VERY upset about what has happened. Even he probably didn't know that she was pregnant.

I would guess he's upset, especially seeing that she's a minor and her parents are likely to get in trouble for this as well. Still, I don't get it. Is it one of those schools where children live on campus and only see their parents like once a week or so? I mean, they must have noticed at least some symptoms...

It is a normal school which lasts from about 8AM to 4PM Monday-Friday with the exception of holidays. And if her closest friends never noticed, could you really expect her parents to? She did a really good job at hiding this until it happened.
