A girl gave birth at my school today and drowned the baby!

I can't believe it! She doesn't seem like the kind of person that would kill her baby(but might get pregnant) but I'm sure she wouldn't be herself at the time.
And it's the second time to happen in the area within like a week. About a week ago, in Houston(in this area bascially), a 14yr old(so, same age) girl threw her baby in the trash can on a plane. It didn't affect me like today's events though, since today birth and death happened probably only 100 yards from me. The Houston girl had no charges against her because it was stillborn and not viable.

In the case of today, however, the baby must have been alive(but prematurely born I think) since she drowned it.
Any comments or thoughts?
I hope I don't disgust anyone too much. Someone actually did throw up when they found out today.
