Problem Huge Problem With Addons!

Hi, I'm new to this orbiter stuff, it's awesome simulator and I love it, but I have one big problem because any of the addons won't work, the game just crashes :-(
Any Help?

For starters, can you post your crash log?

Also, what addons are we talking about? Are you sure you installed them correctly?

I'd love to help, but you aren't providing much info.

Could you post the continence of the Orbter.log file, it's in the main orbiter directory.

When you post it enlose it in [ code ] [ /code ] tags(without the spaces).

Could you also list the addons you're using.

Since you're just starting with orbiter, I'd recommend using JSGME to manage your downloaded addons.

Were any of those addons working in the past? If yes, what did you install after that that stopped it working? I recommend starting with a clean install and adding the addons one at a time. Test after adding each one and you will be able to narrow down where the conflict is.

BTW, I also recommend segregating your addons a little better by having separate installs for major addon branches. Eg, you are unlikely to use Ares 1-X in the same scenario as AMSO, so if you put them in separate Orbiter installations you will reduce the possibility of conflicts.

There is also the Common Orbiter Installation (still in beta) which I have been using very successfully now for some months. It achieves the same thing but with some better management (and better than JSGME, IMHO).

Those missing vessel .cfg files signify you don't have either the Delta Glider IV or XR2 Ravenstar vessels installed properly. You can find them here (DGIV) and here (XR2). I'd recommend the other two vessels on that page as well.
