General Question How do I place a ship or craft on a runway or base?

How do I place a ship or craft on a runway or base?
I'm talking about the start of a scenario.
Can not find anything related to it on the forum.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Just docked my DG1V with ISS.
This is a first for me. And now her indoors
wants me to cut the lawn...She has no idea
What blood and sweat it took to get there...

A simple way to do it would be to use the scenario editor (make sure you activated it under the modules tab). Use [Ctrl]+[F4] to open the scenario editor, then select your ship, and the ground location you want to be. You can then save the scenario and name it whatever you want. That way it'll always be there for you.

Word of advice, if the ship in question has landing gear, you may need to add the ship to the scenario, deploy the landing gear, and then bring up the scenario editor and place the ship at the location desired.
