Hi All,
New to the forum. Have been looking for some kind of space orbital mechanics app ever since Qrbit (yes thats a Q) disappeared! Tried Orbiter a long time ago but never got it to work (using XP in a VM on a Mac) - seem to have more luck now but still got some problems - so another post very soon.
Cheers
Terry

Greetings Terry! I have actually been to the south coast, last year (Worthing area mostly, also visited Brighton, Beachy Head and Portsmouth).

Orbiter on Mac

Welcome!

I use Orbiter in two ways on my 2012 MacBook Pro: on a BootCamp partition running Windows 8, and on Parallels Desktop version 8 running Windows XP.

It's inconvenient booting into the BootCamp partition, but performance is fantastic. Parallels v8 provides sufficient performance for trying things out, but has shortcomings (such as some Orbiter key-combinations being intercepted by OSX). Earlier versions of Parallels gave unsatisfactory performance for Orbiter.

Feel free to contact me for more details.
