Okay, I'm in 8th grade, and we are doing the 9th grade scheduling. I'm scared of all the homework I'll have! I really want to work for NASA, in Mission Control, or isn't there a building at KSC that also helps direct the launch? I want to do that sort of technical/monitering of the rockets. I know the military is also an option for launching satellites. But please, I'm just so overwhelmed, and the classes I will take will determine my future. There's 7 periods, and 2 semesters. I know I will take the summer gym program to add some extra flexibility. I want to take a foreign language, Spanish or Latin? Does NASA look at your Language Arts grade as much as your science and math grades? I'm in accelerated math, meaning right now im in 9th grade math, and I'm in advanced science. What college degrees does NASA want you to get, and what classes for those degrees do I need to take in High School? I was thinking a computer science class, regular Language arts, regular social studies, 10th grade math, advanced science. What classes do I need to take? Thanks so much, as I'm really overwhelmed and scared for the coming 8 years... :suicide:

Thanks!
Myles

P.S. What are some good alternatives for this if I don't make it into NASA, to fall back on?

First thing, take a chill pill !! Next, contact NASA and ask them, they will probably advise you as to what you need.
