help with 2001 downloading

I have downloaded and extracted the appropriate files, and have managed to place all of the add-ons contents into their proper subfolders. However when i try to start a 2001 scenario a terminal error pops up and shuts it down. I looked at the log and this is what it said....

I re downloaded and placed everything but still the same thing happened. I'm assuming that i must have handeled something wrond, here is another example.

I am not sure what file folder vessel class config files are found in (there are many folders and files pretaining to files and meshes of bases and ships).
This is the link from which I have downloaded this add-on. If someone has the same problem and fixes it, or knows where these config files are located (yes i looked in config directory) PLEASE respond. I am new with this kind of thing so I am kinda helpless......
this does NOT happen to the scenarios included in the base package. (version 2006).

Where have you downloaded it? I downloaded it from OrbitHangar.

Wait, i have managed to get some scenarios working (some shut down, it says there was an error , send an error report, but no terminal error or error log) but the ships arent there. Literally, you are at the base ready to launch, you can switch camera views, but the spacecraft itself is not there. There is also no fuel when you enter the cockpit version. In the text instructions it mentions you must change the base.cfg file and add in a few things listed on another text document, or else all the textures for the ships would be missing (my problem now). I opened the original base.cfg, added in what was needed, and overwrote it using the save as type:all files. Now it says it is a cfg file, has what is needed in it, but the ship textures aren't there. HELP!

oops forgot, i downloadedf it form there too, but now that i fixed that problem i cant get the cfg/textures working. any1 got a mod that WORKS?

crap just saw that the download is for another version, does that matter much?

I think it's better if you restart with a new Orbiter installation...

I also have this problem since installing Shuttle Fleet 4.0.1. Many of the new scenarios quit while loading:

... and many scenarios that used to work also die with similar messages, each time complaining about different vessels that can't be loaded. All of these errors are related to vessel.cpp.

To try and fix, I installed a new Orbiter 6 from scratch, installed all the add-ons required by SF 4+ (ISS Fleet, etc) and I still have the same errors.
In addition, there are scenarios where I can launch from KSC and some that crash out as soon as they try to load.

The expansion pack for V400 which includes STS122 scenarios is also giving me this problem. Apparently the v400 401 and this expansion patch doesn't include all the files necessary to run certain scenarios pertaining to the latest ISS configuration. I've not found any hint in the docs as to what add-on I might be missing...

The several STS126 expansion packs mentions ISS configurations I'm having trouble with in Shuttle Fleet scenarios. Hese are supposedly included with this 126 expansion pack. When I install these expansion packs I have the same error with Russian and ISS vessels included in these scenarios.

Thanks for the link to the diagnostic tool. I'll use that in the future. I was able to track down three add-ons I needed, two of which are no longer available on Orbiter Mods but fortunately I had them saved in my own collection library. Particularly Ultra series mods.
