Hi everybody.
I'm Ugo from Rome, Italy.
I'm 46 and always been in love with flightsims, since Commodore64 days!

I am a member of a virtual squadron (Italian Fighters, our base is www.tuttovola.org) and we fly with IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. We also have some real life pilots with us.

In these few last years I also fell in love with Live For Speed, a racing simulator, another beautiful one-person project (well, they're 3 actually!).

I discovered Orbiter a couple of years ago, but never really went deep into it, it looked so difficult but it hooked me!
The recent release of O2010 made me decide it was time to put more effort into it, and here I am.
I started registering some time ago at Orbiter Italia Forum, and they already gave me many precious tips, but I have to learn a lot.

Looking forward to many Space trips!
And thanks to Martin!!

Hi Ripley, welcome :hello:

Welcome to O-F. Please remember to keep your joysticks, keyboards and other gaming paraphernalia within reaching distance at all times!

Ah, the good old Commodore 64! :welcome: to the forum Ripley!

Thanks all for the warm welcome!

I should have said that I am spreading the word of Orbiter among my WWII flight sim squad members, and we are really fascinated!
Some say it's too hard, others love it!
We also have another 3D skilled squadmate, who is working on a new spaceship add-on.

Although we, as airplane pilots, are mentally "attached" to the ground and fly mostly "horizontally", I am making some new Orbinauts transition to the "vertical" over there.

Check our Orbiter section out - if you understand Italian it's better!
