Problem halo pelican

This month it will be going through huge amounts of reconstruction. Primarily the cockpit. Hopefully with these it wil help and maybe get some help along the way.

There is only one seat?
The Halo 3 pelican has two seats tandem, one behind the other. The Halo 1 Pelican (which is what your model is) has two seats side-by-side.

I think I'll do the Halo 3 cockpit because it looks better. Thanks though.

So far I got the two control stacks.I need to add a side stick control, a throttle lever, some textures, and a few more details. It seems like very little, but it is a lot. I can't guarantee a date of release for the new VC, but maybe in a few weeks.

I don't know how to get pictures the pictures to make textures for the cockpit like the pictures he showed me. How would I get them? Could I cut them out of those pictures? After that, what would I do?

I got a little bit of texturing done. I textured the chair, the overhead panel, and the control stack behind the chair. I still need help though to texture the walls and such.

I just uploaded the VC. IT is preliminary and pardon for the crappy texturing.

It's looking really good so far!

Two things I noticed when looking at it:
a) There was sometimes a huge black object visible from external view, but I'm not really sure what it was/what caused it (although it did appear to be vertical and along the centre of the ship).

b) I think the animations for the thruster pods are the wrong way round. When the Pelican pitches up, the pods should form this shape: \_/ (i.e. front pods angled down, rear pods angled up), and vice versa for when it's pitching down.

But great work so far!!!

Thanks. I can fix that very soon.

I've been working on the original mesh from the add on you posted in the hangar. Adding complete landing gear, rear hatch, etc. I'll send you the results in a PM when I get it flight worthy to test out. I'm taking my time with it to avoid burn out so it will be a while yet but the the landing gear are almost done.

Do those involve animations? Anyway, thanks for doing this. I completely forgot about some stuff. Even though I have to sort through the groups again it is going to be worth it.
