Greetings from Mercury

In practicing for my up-coming mission to Mercury, I decided to try to go to..well..Mercury. I used IMFD to setup the transfer (which seemed oddly...simple....), then used the IMFD full manual to read up on how to lower my DV to the lowest possible. So, after some fast-forwarding, i finally got to where mercury was no longer a 5 pixel planet, and i was like "OMG!"

Using what I always did for the moon, I was able to achieve orbit around Mercury (using QUITE a lot of fuel, I might add), and then landed!

I'm so happy!
(Note: I did this with the super-settings for the DGIV: Super powerful engine, super fuel, super O2. However, Those are my planned settings for my actual story-line trip, so it's all good)

Good job man! I love that feeling when you land on something the first time, especially Mercury, there's something "exotic" about it.
