Can anyone please help me? I have a problem, and I think I know what the problem is, but I don't know how to fix it. I think I was on this same site a while ago with a similar problem, but with Flight Simulator. I fixed it then, but now the problem is occurring with Orbiter. The "symptoms" of the problem don't directly indicate what the problem is, but I'm almost positive I know what the problem is. For the "symptoms", during gameplay, when I am within earth's atmosphere, I can still see space and the stars when I shouldn't, and the spacecraft 'disappears' if I zoom in on it too much. Obviously, that doesn't tell me what the problem is, but I'm positive it's a problem with my graphics card. When this happened with Flight Simulator, it made the simulator sort of 'stutter' or 'hiccup'. The problem basically is that the high resolution I have the sim set too is 'overworking' my graphics card. I know you might think "Just lower the resolution", but here's the thing. I recently formated my computer, deleting everything on it, including Orbiter, (I don't know if this is a vital piece of information, but instead of putting Windows XP Media Center edition back on it which was on before, I put XP Pro on it because it wouldn't install the useless garbage Media Center did), and I never had this problem before, but after installing Orbiter after formatting my computer, I did have the problem. I downloaded the same updates for my graphics card I had had before, but I still have the problem. Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to give as much info as I could for an easy explanation for my problem. If you know how to fix this problem, I would very much appreciate it.
