 This addon have meshes form Jack Higgins and Missleman01, i just made some editions to make this spacecraft "fllyable" in the Orbiter 2006 P1. I don't know why, this don't work on my Orbiter 2010! Try on your Orbiter 2010, if this works, say me in the forum. The Mariner 2 was the first spacecraft to make a sucessful planetary flyby in 1962. Was an amazing spacecraft!

I got it to work in 2010 by moving it to Multistage2 and Spacecraft3. I wouldn't even think of trying with older versions. I had to make are two many changes to list here but I will send you the files if you like.

Don't need do this, I changed the files to Multistage2 and Spacecraft3, maybe I post the updates, but now I'm working in my Mars Global Surveyor!!!

Some suggestions for future improvements:

» RCS jets on the spacecraft. I think that there's info on this on the web.
» Don't mess with spacecraft or multistage .dlls, 99% of the users will already have the correct version installed on their system!
» Perhaps you can use better (in my opiniion) Atlas meshs+textures that are avaliable, along with the launch pad tower. Check the Atlas, Mercury and Gemini addons for the required "parts". I don't think that the authors would object to reuse if credit is given.
