Latvia could had a good fare with the "rednex goes watered" idea, but they did the worst they can do to this song. They sang it clean and correctly.

Once again Sweden (or at least the Tabloid papers) will be in a state of national mourning over a crappy performance. Serves melodifestivalen right for picking that scary woman.

I think the highlight of the Greek song was not the singing, if you catch my drift. Quite a lot of the people I was watching it with voted for greece just because she's a bit of a looker. I don't agree with them (I think she'll be Britney Spears Mk 2 in a few years).
Mind you, I'm no better - the singer was the reason I voted for albania as she was quite .

That was also my thinking. Everyone votes for their friends - and excluding Ireland the UK doesn't have many of those around Europe..
The Spanish song was pretty funny, but as with all the joke songs they tend to last too long. The pirates cracked me up as well, but after a minute or so they get a little boring. I'm just pissed off that France and Turkey didn't do that well, the French song was pretty cool and I actually liked the Turkish song (unlike most of the others).

Well i have to agree with sir terry this morning. Again the uk came last when there was clearly alot worse songs. What has happened is all the eastern block countries have all voted for there neigboughs and friends and not on the merits of the music. I felt really sorry for terry he sounded relly fed up with the hole thing.
