OHM ENERGY project, release 4

You can't. You must wait about half-day for ascending part of desired orbit. Or set launch site location in south hemisphere.

Why is that? Is the real Energia not capable of rolling to a southern heading?

It would be nice if Energia could launch to a southern heading in the next version.

Also, Energia-2 looks very, very neat. I look forward to its release.

I think the real Energia can everything :) (was)

But in Orbiter what for? You can't wait for proper launch window???

So does the Vulkan HLV

I have a personal preference for launching in the daytime, any given orbit will usually have one window in the day and one window at night. So, having that flexibility means I always get to launch in the day. :cheers:

Ok, I will think about it.

When OGLA is released we can turn on the lights so we don't have to launch in the day.

Not working in Orbiter 2010, v.100830, I tried it over clean instalaton with sound addon.
I get - Terminating after critical error. See Orbiter.log for details -message

in the log file (c:/../Orbiter/Orbiter.text document) states ...>>> ERROR: No vessel class configuration file found for:>>> ERROR: Bypah\Bypah2
>>> [Vessel::OpenConfigFile | .\Vessel.cpp | 252]
---------------------------------------------------------------
>>> TERMINATING <<<

It works for me, try installing again. Are you sure you didn't use one the scenarios that require another add-on?

energy error

I was missing some required addons, that is why there was an error.

I have fixed some of it, it is great addon, everything is working fine except those 3 buran scenarios. problem is buran is attached to energia but it is not visible, and not functional I think.

I taught that there will be reqired addons listed in addon description but I found them later in buran.pdf , some of addons have already list of required addons.

sorry if my english is not perfect I havent use it for a while, hope you understand.

I dont know what is wrong with buran but it is ok, it is too much effort to fix every single glitch...

best regards :cheers:

You're missing a Buran addon of some sort. In Cyrillic Buran is written "Бура́н." I guess Bypah is a romanisation of the word's Cyrillic appearance.

You can find which addon you need in Energy's documentation. No guarantees they will all work, though. :tiphat:

EDIT: Nevermind, didn't see that last post. :facepalm:

Mark Petrov's (scorched) BURAN 2 and Jkanios' Buran were written for Orbiter 2005P2 (050216), so, it's almost impossible that could work in 2010P1 :S

I can't get the hud working :( Is it broken in 2010P1?

*edit: Nevermind, I think it's related to the use of the dx9 client. Because in default client I can see the HUD.

Amazing add-on

Energy it's for me the most amazing historical-and-science-fiction add-on. I like fly a DG to the MEO by your new Delta Tug. Kulch, you make a lots of add-ons about Russian National Space Agency in future. Thanks! 5/5 :thumbup:

Is there any particular reason why the autopilot can only be turned off at 200m (or was this value different, I can't remember what the manual said) altitude? I'd love to be able to manually control it from start to finish.

Is it possible to turn off that feature by any chance in the configs?

Sadly, I believe it's integrated into the coding, so no.

However, you might want to give Loru/woo's Hyperion HCLV a look, as it's the same capacity, but is capable of manual from the moment you start the engines.
