When I turn with a Ummu or any other ship on Earth it skids. WOuld a new EArth config fix this?

No. Learning to walk would be a start before you try to run.

Why do I get the impression, you are too much fixated on "fixing" planets, instead of looking for alternatives?

My thoughts exactly. Nothing wrong with fooling around with planets to make a system, but this has nothing to do with flying a spaceship.
Orbiter isn't very good on the ground, never was meant to be. Weird things happen on terra firma.
Take off, get into orbit and go play in space.

Actually, from my experiments with landing gear tire physics in Orbiter, Orbiter behaves not too strange when remembering that we have no elastic landing gear at all.

I once rolled on only one tire in Orbiter, and it was actually not unrealistic regarding the speeds and control surface deflections I used. 50 m/s are not 50 Knots, but actually almost 100 knots....

Was that an experiment or a dodgy landing?

Its not like that, you know when you 'taxi' out to the runway and turn it skids is there any way I could show you?

but could someone attach there earth.cfg because it is abnormally large

Experiment. I implemented rotating wheels in an add-on, and tested the logic to calculate the rotation speed and smoke production.

Apollo 13: Just use the Earth.cfg from your Orbiter base installation ZIP...

And you can only use nose wheel steering when the add-on implements it. Orbiter has only minimal landing gear physics.

This is what happened when I applied a tad bit of thrust on DGIV. I have not messed with the thrust level.

sure here is the main part

Simple problem:
Code:
Mass = 5.973698968e+24

Note: don't mess around with planet config files unless you know what you're doing.

Next week I am coming out with a tutorial on how to make solar systems and edit planet cfg files. You will be one of the first people to get it.

That still doesn't work if i apply thrust same thing and the DGIV says the g's are over 400

thanks i've always wanted to build systems i'm not familiar with photoshop the only thing I do is make scenarios at orbithangar

You also ruined this line:

"JCoeff = 1082.6269e-"

Looks like you edited without knowing even a bit about what you had been doing and without backup... and what makes it impossible for you to just take the Earth.cfg file from the orbiter base file?

Do what Urwumpe said: take the earth.cfg file from your original orbiter directory and overwrite the cfg you have now.

If that doesn't work remove the rings.

I also noticed that Urwumpe.

Why are you messing up these config files?

Oh well I could do that but it still does the same thing! if i replaced the one i have with the base file it would mess up my bases

-----Posted Added-----

i already removed the rings

guess i learned my lesson!

You might not believe me but... ALL THE PLANETS WERE PULLED INTO THE SUN LIKE IT WAS A BLACK HOLE!!! (this is really strange)

THREE WORDS

THREE WORDS: DELETE ORBITER DIRECTORY

Can you show us a picture please.

Also, Your orbiter is screwed up.

my bad the sun isn't a black hole but where is it (notice the distance)
