I did not see lights on earth when I ran Orbiter for the first time, so I downloaded the High Resolution Earth Lights. [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1160"]High Resolution Earth Night Lights version 2.0[/ame]

And I still don't see any. the .PDF that came with it wants me do this:

First, you must edit your EARTH.CFG file (or any Earth CFG files
you want these textures to work on) and find the lines:
MinNighttexResolution = 1 ; lowest night lighting level
MaxNighttexResolution = 8 ; highest night lighting level
If these are set this way, then you can leave alone. If not,
change the MaxNighttexResolution to 8 (as shown above) to enable
the level 8 texturing. That’s all there is too it.

I can not find the line MinNighttexResolution in the Earth.CFG file.

What am I doing wrong?:compbash2:

That addon is is for an older version of Orbiter (wich had, IIRC, the night lights in a seperate file).

To get the default night lights working, make sure that the Night light level is not at 0 and Planet night lights are on in the Visual effects tab of the Orbiter Launchpad. If it still doesn't show up, reinstalling Orbiter or updating graphic card drivers might help.
