Yes, you install them from the source zip files.
2006 to 2010 Quick and Dirty File Transfer
I did do a quick and dirty transfer of my Orb 2006 folders into a clean Orb 2010 install. I just coppied the folders across, keeping or overwriting the newer or larger files, as my preferences decided. It took about half an hour (1200+ files!). (I did this before when moving my install to a new computer.) I have ended up with a bit of a Frankenstein version of Orbiter 2010 with the new 2010 features but with some of my old 2006 installation`s problems. If you install sound first then copy the folders across, then go through the set up as if it is a new install you should get SOME of your addons working in Orb 2010 I'm experiencing problems with some older tail-sitter and anything with any CVEL code.(A CVEL patch somebody PLEASE!.) So I've spent the last couple of weeks just working through my scenareios to see which of my addons will work in Orb 2010, so I can start installing from scrach again. At present it's running 70/30 works/doesn't work for my addons. All my bases work, the problems seem to be with pre 290906 addons, which can kinda be expected as they are now old bits of softwere.
It sort of works but I'm not recomending it.
