Man, this thread brings back memories! My first computer was a TI-99/4A -- it had 16K of RAM, about 6K of which was available for BASIC code. I remember learning BASIC by typing in games from David Ahl's 101 BASIC Computer Games book and saving them on casette.
Then when I turned 16 I got a Commodore 64 and started playing with 6510 (6502) assembly language as well. Ah, those were the days...if the computer locked up I knew it was my fault! Nowadays, it's usually nVidia's...
