DG-EX successful re-entry & landing at CSSC

It's been a while, but thanks to watching David Courtney's youtube vid on reentry from LEO using only the basic instruments I managed it She handles reentry very well I think.

Ended up using a powered portion of the return due to being about 200 km out from CSSC and unable to stretch the glide. Landing was a little hard :blush: but that serves me right for not doing a go-around (I had the fuel). I love this simulator!

Prior to this phase of the "mission" I'd taken off from CSSC, deployed a satellite and docked with the ISS.

I remember well that time when the recorded voice on the XR-2 said wheels down as my XR-2
touched the ground at Wideawake after my first (successful) reentry. Allot of effort went into that:lol:.
