Two normal & specular maps for Default Space Shuttle Atlantis.
To install it just unzip archive into default Orbiter Directory.
Maps also compatible with Shuttle Fleet and Space Shuttle Ultra textures (just rename it!).
Requires: D3D9/D3D11 Client

Updated:

  • Added effect to bottom and back side of shuttle
  • Higher resolution main texture

This is probably an easy fix for someone out there, but I'm getting the textures to come out black on the shuttle. Any suggestions?

try this one. If it works tha means your GPU doesn't support dxt5 compression in normal maps - if it doesn't then dunno.

Using D3D9 R11, and it's the case with both the default, SSU, and SF.

My maps was made using DXT3 compression, and works good on D3D9 R11 client Atlantis, Shuttle Fleet and SSU. Which compession is the best for these specular textures?

I see numerous rendering problems in that screenshot. Have you tried reinstalling the D3D9Client files?

The other rendering problems have been persistent for me since D3D9 R10 was released, I find that some meshes seem to disappear when faced towards the sun. However, a fair portion of addons do not do that for me.
