Scenario Creating orbiting station near planet

Hi,

I am trying to create an orbiting station (wheel,iss or mir) near other planets than Earth, i.e. Venus or Mars, but in scenario editor, when I am editing its orbiting elements, it just return to default or default-near value (i.e. when I am editing ecc, I can't change it lower than 0.9 when I am working with Venus and so the station is flying away from planet). I am using Orbiter 2010 build 6 (not sure if it is SP1). Any ideas? THX

If the value you set conflicts with other values already in place, it resets what you entered. If your initial Ecc was higher than 1, you'd have a negative SMa and longitude higher than 360. If you want a circular orbit, try setting every value other than SMa to zero (set SMa to something like 1.2 planet radii) and then start modifying values to what you want.

thanks for help it helped never tried this one possibility it seems the main problem is SMa vs ecc, because I have a problem that I couldnt get SMa to positive value... thx very much
