Hi guys,
I'm trying to set an additional feature of MS2015 where in complex flight if you get an AOA too wide the rocket will start to have great difficulty in getting back to the gravity turn, and if then aoa gets out of the limit then the rocket loses control and explodes...
to do this I thought of adding 2 variable drag elements on the nose of the rocket having as guiding parameter aoa and slip angle...
but...
I'm fine for now with the legacy atmospheric model of orbiter and I'm not very expert in the airfoil definition.
So... is it possible to use the legacy model and still have just the variable drag some how?
or... is it possible to get the lift and drag coefficients currently used by the legacy mode and reapply them as they are before adding the variable drags?
shall i use the addforce function instead, calculating the drag to apply by myself?
Thanks in advance to anyone!
Fred
